　　西安，是中国重要的科研、教育和工业基地，拥有3100多年建城史的历史文化名城，与雅典、罗马、开罗并称世界四大文明古都。这里，不仅铭刻着华夏文明久远的璀璨荣耀，而且承载着中华民族复兴的航天梦想。被誉为“西安航天城”的西安航天基地，创建于2006年11月，位于西安东南，总规划面积86.65平方公里，是航天技术产业和国家战略性新兴产业聚集区，也是西安建设国际化大都市的城市功能承载区，是被国务院批复的国家级陕西航天经济技术开发区。这里交通条件优越，城市地铁2号、4号线穿越基地，直通西康高速，贯通绕城高速。

　　As an important base of scientific research, education and industry in China, Xi’an, a historic city with city history of over 3,100 years, is called one of the greatest ancient cities in the world, together with Athens, Rome and Cairo. It not only is engraved with the long splendid glory of Chinese civilization, but carries the aerospace dream of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Honored as “Xi’an Aerospace City”, Xian National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base was established in December 2006 in the southeast of Xi’an, with a total planning area of 86.65km2. The base is the cluster area of aerospace technology industry and national strategic emerging industry , and also the urban function bearing zone for building Xi’an as an international metropolis. It was approved by the State Council as the National Shaanxi Aerospace Economic and Technological Development Zone. The base has superior traffic condition, with urban metro line 2 and line 4 across the base, directly connecting with Xikang Highway and the Ring Expressway.
